Browsing crowdfunding platforms and trade fairs overseas, I constantly meet products and think: there are people in Japan who would love this. Yet the language barrier, differences in business customs and regulatory requirements mean there are many hurdles for a manufacturer entering Japan alone. Taking those hurdles on, one by one, and creating the meeting between a great product and Japanese customers — that is our work.
We are not a large trading house. That is precisely why we do not take on more products than we can serve, and why we commit ourselves to each product and each manufacturer we work with. From crowdfunding as PR and proof of demand through to general sales in e-commerce and retail, we walk the whole path with you until your product is established in Japan.
From manufacturers, we want to hear: "We were right to leave Japan to you." From customers: "I'm glad I found this product." Earning both of those is what we work towards every day. We look forward to hearing from you.
